Sign a file

To sign a file with ProofDesk go to the "Sign a file" panel and choose the file you want to sign.

Then you can see and edit the details of your proof of signature:

  • The hash of the timestamped file
  • The name of the anchor (by default the file name)
  • The tags of the anchor (used to search anchors)
  • The "public" state of the anchor (true by default): public anchors are discoverable by anyone having the data
  • The metadata of the anchor (default file size and type)

This part is similar to the timestamp creation process

Signature
Once you have filled the proof properties, you can now sign the document using either Woleet.ID for mobile or Woleet.ID for ledger nano S. See the Woleet.ID documentation to see how to process a signature.
