My Late-Night Addiction: How Eggy Car Turned Me into a Laughing
The Night It All Started
It was supposed to be a quiet evening. I had just finished work, made myself some tea, and wanted to unwind with something light. “Let’s find a cute little mobile game,” I thought. I opened the app store and saw a colorful icon—Eggy Car.
The description looked simple: Drive carefully while balancing an egg on your car. Easy enough. Cute graphics, chill music, and physics-based fun. What could possibly go wrong?
Spoiler alert: everything went wrong. And I loved every second of it.
First Impressions: A False Sense of Security
The first few seconds were innocent enough. The music was calm, the car was tiny, and the egg looked adorable sitting on top. “Okay,” I said to myself, “I got this.”
Ten seconds later—crack.
The egg rolled right off the car after the smallest bump. I stared at the screen, blinking in disbelief. “Wait, that counts as losing?”
Yup. And then it happened again. And again. And again.
By the fifth attempt, I was determined. By the tenth, I was laughing so hard I nearly dropped my phone. Eggy Car was already winning—not because I was good at it, but because it made failure genuinely hilarious.
