Hey everyone, I’m currently brainstorming ideas for my dissertation and honestly, it feels a bit overwhelming. There are so many possiblem mechanical engineering dissertation topics — from renewable energy systems to robotics, advanced manufacturing, and even AI applications.

If you’ve been through this process (or are in it now), how did you narrow down your dissertation topic? And what areas in Mechanical Engineering do you think are most exciting or impactful right now?
