Shift Work Sleep Disorder (SWSD) is frequently treated with Artvigil 150 (armodafinil). When someone works irregular hours, like night shifts or a rotating schedule, it helps them feel less drowsy. Artvigil 150, taken around one hour before the start of a change, increases alertness and encourages wakefulness without the jittery side effects of conventional stimulants. Although it helps control symptoms, it does not treat the underlying disruption of the circadian rhythm. Always use Artvigil under a doctor's supervision because overuse can cause dependence or insomnia.
